HAPPY VE DAY EVERYONE!!!!

Ok, I don't know whether it's just VE Day in England or what, but still.  There are celebrations in Hull :D  An exhibition with artefacts (!!!! I love artefacts :D) and 40s dancing and singing :D  Was pretty good.

Our's is in October, but I thought I'd take this opportunity to share with you my all time favourite poem (though I adore Carol Ann Duffy and Wilfred Owen too).  I found it in our Poem-A-Day book when I was very young and adored it.  I've read it so many times I know it off by heart and I recite it to myself to feel... well, calm I guess.
